Need more ores in your world but don't want to break the game's balance? This addon is perfect for you! It adds a single new ore, Bronze, which is fully balanced. Its spawn rate is rare but not too rare, and it's not overpowered. Bronze sits perfectly between Iron and Diamond in the progression scale, offering a unique alternative for mid-game players.
Features
- Generation: Bronze Ore generates between Y-levels 28 and -64. It is more abundant in Desert biomes, making exploration there rewarding.
- Obtaining: All Bronze blocks require an Iron Pickaxe or better to mine.
- New Mob Drop: Husks now have a 1.5% chance to drop a Bronze Ingot when defeated.
- Bronze Magnet: A special item that attracts all items and XP orbs within a 15-block radius. Can be equipped in either the main hand or off-hand.
- Bronze Golem: A new craftable golem similar to the Iron Golem. It takes 50% less damage from projectiles and explosions. Additionally, when it takes projectile damage, it gains a temporary speed boost!
Bronze Tools
| Tool Type | Durability | Damage (Attack) | Enchantability | Efficiency (Speed) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pickaxe | 198 | +4 | 16 | 9 |
| Axe | 198 | +5 | 16 | 9 |
| Shovel | 198 | +3 | 16 | 9 |
| Sword | 198 | +6 | 16 | N/A |
| Hoe | 198 | +4 | 16 | 9 |
Note: Bronze tools have lower durability than Iron (250) but higher than Stone (131). Their damage is equal to Iron, but their mining speed is exceptional, matching Netherite (Efficiency 9). Mining Tier: Bronze tools are equivalent to Iron, meaning the pickaxe cannot mine Obsidian or Netherite.
Bronze Armor
| Armor Piece | Durability | Armor Points | Enchantability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Helmet | 132 | 3 | 16 |
| Chestplate | 192 | 7 | 16 |
| Leggings | 180 | 6 | 16 |
| Boots | 156 | 2 | 16 |
Note: Bronze armor has higher durability than Copper (Helmet: 121, Chestplate: 176, Leggings: 165, Boots: 143) but less than Iron (Helmet: 165, Chestplate: 240, Leggings: 225, Boots: 195). In terms of protection (armor points) , it provides more than Iron (Iron gives: Helmet 2, Chestplate 6, Leggings 5, Boots 2 = 15 total) but less than Diamond (Diamond gives: Helmet 3, Chestplate 8, Leggings 6, Boots 3 = 20 total). Bronze gives a total of 18 armor points (3+7+6+2 = 18).
