Meet the Rats!

• Wild rats are afraid of players and will run away until they’re tamed.

• They can pick up items and hold them in their mouths — they especially love cheese.

• Tame them with cheese; once tamed, they stop fleeing and become loyal companions.

• Breeding also uses cheese.

Plants & Decor

• Cattail — grows even in water and can reach up to 4 blocks tall. Perfect for shores and swamps.

• 

• Yellow grass — a bright decorative accent to enliven fields and gardens.

• Short grass — subtle ground cover for fine landscape detailing.

• Wild wheat — has 4 growth stages and can grow up to 4 blocks tall.
  Roadmap: future updates will add wild-wheat biomes where rats will naturally spawn.

New Wood — Cedar

• A fresh set of cedar building blocks.

• Cedar doors and trapdoors — warm color palette and pleasant texture for stylish builds.

New Item — Cheese

• The key to a rat’s heart: use cheese to tame and to breed rats.

How to Get Started

1. Find a rat — sneak and offer cheese to tame it.

2. Dress up riverbanks with cattail, and fields with wild wheat (4 stages, up to 4 blocks).

3. Build a cozy home from cedar using the new doors and trapdoors.

4. To breed your tamed rats — use cheese again.
