Bedrock add-on listed for Minecraft 1.21–26.x (behavior pack only). Needs Beta APIs. File opened and checked on 30 Aug 2026; installs from the MC Bedrock Mods app on Android.
I don't know my version
Open Minecraft and look at the bottom-left corner of the main screen — the version is printed there, like v1.26.30.
The game writes a 1. in front; the buttons above leave it off. v1.26.30 in the game is 26.30 here.
WARNING! EDITED player.json FILE MAY CAUSE OTHER ADDONS TO NOT WORK PROPERLY!
I don't know how to make config sliders, so if you want to change the config you need to edit the main.js file
Dynamic Text Chat currently has these features:
- you must be within a configurable radius (default of 60 blocks) of the sender to see messages
- All player name tags are hidden unless you look at them
- If Show Name Tags in off, the name next to the chat message is hidden
- Tagging a player with a tag containing "prefix.<your text here>" adds a prefix or visible text behind their messages, and a tag containing "color.<color code>" changes the color of the name, but the color of the message is up to the sender, and nither of these work without name tags on (example: "prefix.§aGreen color.§q" > "[§aGreen] <§qFakePlayer5> Fakemessage"
You may use this pack in your content and alter the files to suit your needs, however you must give credit in the description.
