Overview

Welcome to The Mist Stalker — where idle nights in Minecraft turn into a nightmare. This entity isn't just a mindless monster; it stalks players relentlessly and will crush anything to catch its target.

Mob Shape

🌑 Stage 1: The Stare

• Atmosphere: The feeling of being watched from the shadows is real.
• Appearance Time: The nightmare only begins at night (between 13:00 and 23:00).
• Random Target: The monster will randomly select a player in the Overworld to target.
• The Observer: Initially appears ~45 blocks away and silently stares from afar (detection range up to 512 blocks).

🩸 Phase 2: The Chase

If you are in Survival or Adventure mode and approach the stalker within 32 blocks, the hunt begins.

• Trigger: Approaching within 32 blocks while in Survival/Adventure.
• Awakening: A lightning bolt strikes, temporarily blinding nearby players as the monster reveals itself.
• The Destroyer: The monster can destroy any block in its path (except Bedrock) to reach its target. The mechanism is optimized to avoid server lag.
• Terrifying Stats:
  • Height: up to 5 blocks tall
  • Health: 1500
  • Damage: up to 25 per attack
  • Immunities: completely immune to all damage
• Mobility: Tracks up to 512 blocks, moves at extremely high speeds, and can swim and climb.

💀 Key Features & Optimizations

• Haunting Jumpscare: If killed by The Mist Stalker, you'll experience a surprise jumpscare with eerie sounds and on-screen effects before it disappears.
• Survival Mechanic: If you run away and survive for 60 seconds continuously, the entity will give up and vanish with a terrifying sound.
• Performance Optimization (Anti-Spam): Limits The Mist Stalker to a maximum of one active entity at a time across all dimensions to ensure smooth gameplay.
