On a cold, silent night, deep inside an abandoned cave, the player began to notice strange shadows flickering at the edge of his vision. Every time he turned around—nothing. But the air grew heavier, and the silence was broken by soft whispers and faint footsteps echoing behind him.

He thought it was just his imagination… until the shadows stayed longer.

A figure, tall and motionless, would appear behind stone pillars or in dark corners—always watching, never moving when seen. But the moment the player looked away, it crept closer.

Night after night, it returned. The deeper he went, the stronger it became. Doors began opening by themselves. Torches flickered out. Breathing sounds hovered over his shoulder.

By the seventh night, the player’s sanity was slipping. Then it came.

Not as a monster—but as a shape just like him.

And it smiled.
