Extra Mutants Addon for Minecraft

This add-on is inspired by the Mutant Creatures mod.

The Extra Mutants add-on aims to make Minecraft harder and more challenging by adding a few mutated versions of vanilla mobs.

(NOTE : This add-on is still in its BETA stage, some things may change over time, rewards will be added, and more Mutants will appear eventually.)

How to mutate mobs / How to craft special Chemicals :

To mutate mobs, you have to craft a special potion called "Substance V". This special potion can be created with 2 Obsidian and 1 Splash Water Bottle :

After you have successfully created "Substance V", you will need to throw it on a mob with a Mutation form for it to turn into a Mutant. This process takes about 1~4 seconds.

A dark cloud will appear from the bottle, it will seek any living creature and approach it. The chance of a mob mutating successfully is 40%, if it fails, it explodes and may die.

Additionally, you can also craft another potion called "Solution U", a stronger and more toxic variant of "Substance V". This potion can be created with 2 Obsidian, 2 Crying Obsidian and 1 Splash Water Bottle :

Throwing this potion on a mob with a Mutation form for it to turn into a Mutant just like the other one. However, this process takes about 4~6 seconds.

A dark cloud with a purple tint in the middle will appear from the bottle, it will seek any living creature and approach it. The chance of a mob mutating successfully is 95%, if it fails, it explodes and may die. If the mob's health is too weak, it may die during the Mutation process.

Mutant Spider :

"The Mutant Spider is a creature that strikes fear onto any animals and players it meet. It's famgs are capable of stealing health of anything it bites into, making it a formidable opponent to fight early on."

• Health : 160
• Damage : 3 Hearts (+ Lifesteal)
• Hunts for wild animals like Chickens, Cows, Pigs and Sheeps at night, mainly to heal. It also attacks Players, Iron Golems and Snow Golems

This Mutant currently has 3 attacks :

• Bite : The Mutant Spider raises and brings down it's head and body to perform a deadly bite. Each bite heals the Mutant Spider a few hearts.
• Pounce : The Mutant Spider wiggles its abdomen while lowering its body slightly before pouncing on its target, deals 4 hearts of contact damage. This attack is mainly used to catch up with targets.
• Egg Shot : The Mutant Spider uses its abdomen to shoot out 6 Baby Spider Eggs. After hitting a block or entity, a Baby Spider immediately emerges. These cute but small freaks have 1 heart and deal 1 heart of damage. They can be cleared with Fire with ease.
• Web Shot : The Mutant Spider raises its body and shoots 8 Webs at the target with its abdomen. These Webs deal 2 to 4 hearts of damage, slows the target down and has a 25% chance to trap the target with cobwebs on hit.

Recommended Gear :

• Full set of Iron Armor (preferably Enchanted)
• Iron Sword, Bow and a stack of Arrows
• 2 or more stacks of Fire Charge or Flint & Steel (preferably Enchanted with Unbreaking)
• 4 Golden Apples

Mutant Stray :

"The Mutant Stray is a bone-chilling beast that should not be messed with, it is capable of shooting freezing arrows at the target, making them stay on the spot for it to cause pain and torture."

• Health : 320 (Heals at Night)
• Damage : 5 Hearts (+ Flinging)
• Kills Players, Iron Golems, Snow Golems and Wolves

This Mutant currently has 5 attacks :

• Ranged Attack : The Mutant Stray charges up its crossbow and shoots a special Arrow which either gives Weakness, Slowness or Mining Fatigue : (8 seconds on Easy, 9 on Normal and 10 on Hard), deals 3 hearts of damage.
• Uppercut : The Mutant Stray uses it's left arm to punch the target upwards, causing them to fly up high.
• Constrict : The Mutant Stray uses its big ribs to crush the target, both sending them up in the air and knocking them back, deals 8 hearts of damage.
• Freezing Stomp : The Mutant Stray stomps the ground with incredible strength, causing snow to appear near it. Anything near the stomp gets a huge amount of Weakness, Slowness and Mining Fatigue, gets knocked into the air and receives 3.5 hearts of damage. After that...
• Multi-shot : The Mutant Stray will jump up and shoot 8 Powder Snow-tipped Arrows at the target! The arrows themselves deal 6 hearts of damage. After 2 seconds of being on the ground, they leave behind a cloud of Powder Snow, which gives Slowness, Weakness, Mining Fatigue and deals 2 hearts of freezing damage to anything in a radius of 2~4 blocks.

• Full set of Iron Armor (preferably Enchanted)
• Iron Sword, Bow and a stack of Arrows
• 8 Golden Apples
• Totems of Undying
• Water Bucket

Mutant Zombified Piglin :

"The Mutant Zombified Piglin is a creature with immense strength and durability. Using it's massive arms, it can knock anything up high with a simple hit on the floor or destroy any objects in it's path. Not only that, it's big Golden Sword gives it the ability to shred through any creature that dares challenge it."

• Health : 320 (+ Resurrection, Heals in Hot Biomes)
• Damage : 7 Hearts
• Neutral unless provoked

This Mutant currently has 5 attacks :

• Swing : The Mutant Zombified Piglin swings it's Golden Bigsword, may knock targets back.
• Impale : The Mutant Zombified Piglin impales it's target with the Golden Bigsword, dealing 14 hearts of damage. Will also knock targets back.
• Ram : If the target is trying to run away, the Mutant Zombified Piglin has a chance to try and ram the target. It puts it's left hand forward and runs towards it's target while leaving a trail of Fire behind. Deals 4 hearts of contact damage.
• Ground Smash : The Mutant Zombified Piglun raises it's hand up and slams the ground, causing anything within a 60 block radius to be sent up high and deals 9 hearts of damage. By timing your jump right you will be able to dodge this attack.
• Roar : If the Mutant Zombified Piglin has had enough of you, it will decide to roar, dealing 1 heart of damage to anythinf within a 30 block radius and knocks them back. The roar will also buff ANY Zombified Piglins in the same radius for 20 seconds, includingitself!
