Very often, you will have to use a furnace to smelt one or two items. But the way furnaces in the vanilla game works, everytime you need to smelt an item, a fuel source is used up as a whole. For example, if you want to smelt a single iron ore block, the furnace will take an entire piece of coal to do so. Once the iron ingot has been smelted, the fire inside the furnace will continue to burn until the remaining energy from that single piece of coal is burnt out. This essentially leads to wastage of fuel and makes it not feasible to smelt a small number of items at one. Tiny Coal – Tiny Charcoal Mod is here with an ideal solution. As the name suggests, this mod introduces tiny versions of coal and charcoal that can be used in furnaces to burn just one item. The crafting recipes for these tiny variants are added by this mod. Furthermore, this mod also makes it possible to smelt more items by using the new charcoal block added by this mod. Combine nine pieces of charcoal to craft one charcoal block. This block will smelt around 10% more items compared to just using nine individual pieces of charcoal.
