Better Respawn Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Respawn Near Your Death Location

Better Respawn Mod changes how spawning works after a player’s death. Instead of respawning at the bed or the initial world spawn point, the player will now appear in the nearest area around where they died. This can be configured in the mod’s settings, but by default, it places you not far from your death location. This is convenient because you can now quickly reach your dropped items and retrieve them.

Features:

• The minimum and maximum distance from your death location is configurable.
• You will still respawn at your bed if you return from the end or if you die in another dimension.
• You will also respawn at your bed/respawn anchor if you are within a certain distance of it
