Old Combat Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Brings Back Old Combat Mechanics

Minecraft 1.9 was called the Combat Update and it completely changed how weapons and other combat related things in the game worked. Many players still prefer the older combat system and therefore play on pre-1.9 versions of the game. Old Combat Mod brings some of the pre 1.9 mechanics like swing hand animation and no cooldown into the latest versions of the game.

You can spam click to hit your enemies multiple times with zero cooldown.

This can be done while holding a shield in your off-hand too.

You can enable/disable the mod using commands.

You can also enable or disable the mod in the world creation screen.
