You just spent hours exploring caves, digging through stone blocks deep down in your world, searching for ores. And once you return back home, you have to smelt all of these ores to actually use them. Does that feel tiring? While mining is a time consuming process, there is an element of exploration which makes it entertaining to a degree. But the same cannot be said about smelting as it is basically a waiting game. Configurable Furnace Burn Time Mod solves this for you. With this mod installed, you will have access to a config option in-game, where you can edit how fast ores are smelted by furnaces. Although, you have to use the Mod Menu mod to access the config in-game. Else, you can simply edit the value given in the config file. Setting the modifier to 0.5 makes all items burn 50% less long. Setting it to 2.0 increases the burn time to 200%.

The speed value can be edited here. Setting the modifier to 0.5 makes all items burn 50% less long. Setting it to 2.0 increases the burn time to 200%.

The mod will help you speed up the smelting process, saving you a ton of time that is otherwise wasted.
