Configurable Despawn Timer Mod is a simple mod that lets you configure how long blocks stay in the world before disappearing-from 0 to 72,000 ticks (default is 12,000 ticks).
Features:
- Custom Lifespans:
- Set global despawn times for items and XP orbs (default is 12,000 ticks = 10 minutes).
- Minecraft’s vanilla despawn time is 6,000 ticks (5 minutes).
- Player Item Protection:
- Option to prevent items dropped by players from despawning-great for death recovery or manual drops.
- Per-Item Configuration:
- A config file is generated with all item names, allowing you to assign specific despawn times to each item.
- Values:
- -1 = use global setting
- 0 = item never despawns
- Any positive number = custom despawn time in ticks
Commands:
/cdt usage: Displays command help./cdt reload: Reloads changes made to the config file without restarting the game.
