Spiders Produce Webs Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Slow Down Player

Spiders Produce Webs Mod is a minimalistic configurable mod which makes spiders and cave spiders periodically produce a web when a player is close. Webs can only be produced if the spider is on an air block. With this mod, the spiders will occasionally create a web, but only if the player is nearby. This feature was planned by Notch back in 2009 and has not been implemented, but this modification is designed to fix it. Use this tweak to add a little more hardcore to your survival, because webs can play a crucial role and slow down a player with a small number of healthy points. You can also use this feature of spiders to naturally fill a certain area or town with cobwebs and make it look outdated.

maxDistanceToSpiderBlocks (default = 32, min 1, max 256): The maximum distance in blocks the player can be away from a spider in order for the it to produce a web periodically.

spiderWebProduceDelayTicks (default = 12000, min 1, max 72000): The delay in between spiders producing a web in ticks (1 second = 20 ticks).
