Amplified Nether Mod is a mod that focuses, as its name suggests, on amplifying the Nether dimension. To achieve this, the mod increases the height of the dimension to 256 blocks. In addition, the mod also completely modifies terrain generation. Another key feature of this mod is bringing in the mountains shown in the Nether update trailer-features that never actually made it into the official game. Likewise, the mod introduces new and diverse biomes to Minecraft’s hottest dimension.
