With Despawning Eggs Hatch Mod, eggs lying on the ground will hatch into baby chickens right before they disappear. You can customize the hatching probability and limit how many chickens can spawn this way (by default, a chick will hatch only if there are fewer than 50 chickens within a 32-block radius around the egg).
Features:
- When an egg is about to despawn (after 5 minutes or 6000 ticks), it has a chance to hatch into a chicken.
- By default, eggs only hatch if they’re sitting on a hay block, preventing uncontrolled chicken populations.
- The mod limits new chickens to 50 per area to avoid lag or overcrowding.
- Hatched chickens are baby chicks by default, adding a realistic touch.
