Unlit Campfire Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Placed Campfires are Unlit

Unlit Campfire Mod is a mod that doesn’t add any new blocks or items to the game-it simply changes how campfires behave. With this mod installed, placing a campfire will result in an unlit version by default, instead of one that’s already burning. So, if you have this mod enabled, you’ll need to manually light the campfire after placing it. Campfires will also extinguish naturally over time, just as they do during rain.

Features:

• When you place a campfire or soul campfire, it starts unlit-you’ll need to ignite it manually with Flint and Steel or another fire source.
• Campfires can extinguish over time or when exposed to rain (configurable).
• You can set how long a campfire stays lit (default is 2000 ticks), or even make it burn infinitely.
• Add burnable items like logs or coal to extend the fire’s duration.
• Use Magma Cream to make a campfire burn forever (if enabled in config).
• Optionally, sleeping can extend the burn time of lit campfires.
• You can configure campfires to break after they extinguish (default off).
