Grindstone Sharper Tools Mod (26.2, 1.20.1) – Increase The Damage of Tools

Grindstone Sharper Tools Mod lets you use the grindstone to boost weapon damage for a limited number of hits (Shift + right-click the grindstone while holding a weapon). It’s a smart way to give grindstones extra utility beyond removing enchantments.

You can fine-tune several parameters:

• Number of boosted hits: Default is 100, but it’s fully configurable.
• Bonus damage amount: Choose how much extra damage sharpened weapons deal.
• Chat notifications: Get alerts showing how many empowered hits remain.

Features:

• Sneak + right-click a grindstone with any tool to sharpen it.
• Sharpened tools deal extra damage for a limited number of uses.
• The tool’s name updates to show remaining sharpened uses (configurable).
• Receive alerts when sharpened uses drop to 75%, 50%, 25%, and 10%.
• Configurable Settings:
  • usesAfterGrinding: Number of sharpened uses (default = 32, range 1-5000)
  • sharpenedDamageModifier: Damage multiplier (default = 1.5, range 0-100.0)
  • sendUsesLeftInChat: Toggle chat alerts
  • showUsesLeftInItemName: Toggle name updates
  • nameUsesPrefix / nameUsesSuffix: Customize how sharpened uses appear in item names
