Minecraft PTGI Shaders uses Iris, integrating Path Traced Global Illumination (PTGI) and Spatiotemporal Variance Guided Filtering (SVGF) for noise reduction and image reconstruction, delivering realistic lighting effects.

Features:
- Path traced global illumination (PTGI)
- Spatiotemporal variance guided filtering (SVGF)
- Temporal Anti-Aliasing (TAA)
- Temporal reprojection & motion buffers
- Upscaling
- Motion blur
- Sky
- Volumetric clouds
- Day/night cycle
- Bloom
- Weather and raining
- Animated vegetation
- Color grading
- Tonemapping
- Gamma correction
How it works:
- Path Tracing: Computes lighting by tracing rays through the scene, using voxelization (converting the 3D world into a 2D texture) via the shadow pass to store block data.
- SVGF: Filters noise in the global illumination buffer (excluding textures) to produce a smooth image.
- TAA: Eliminates aliasing artifacts at the final stage of the pipeline.
