VanillAA Shaders is near-identical to vanilla rendering, except for supporting TAA. Temporal anti-aliasing, also known as TAA, is a technique used in Minecraft shaders to smooth out jagged edges and reduce the “stair-stepping” effect that can occur when rendering graphics. This technique uses information from previous frames to improve the quality of the current frame, resulting in a smoother image.
