Normal mobs quickly stop causing fear if their behavior is easy to understand. It's different when you encounter unusual creatures. Vita Carnis The Giants Update contains strange and dangerous creatures with unique mechanics. Some of them evolve from weak forms into stronger ones, others create additional threats through summoning or special attacks. This makes each encounter less predictable and exploration requires more caution. Features include crawlers that spread and spawn other creatures, meat snakes that grow over time, mimics that fear players, influential leaders that summon zombies and poison, reapers that summon tentacles, monoliths, elder mimics, singularities, and merged creatures.
