The Quarry mod introduces an extremely unusual block that can destroy a huge area down to the very foundation in mere moments. If you place the block on the ground and enable it, all blocks within a certain radius will be mined down to the lowest level. Neither diamonds, nor obsidian, nor any other game blocks can stop this infernal machine. How to install the block? First place the block on the ground and destroy it, after which a stone platform appears that defines the boundaries of the future pit. You need to place fuel in the form of a coal block on the red block to the left to start the process. After startup, all blocks within the radius of action will be destroyed level by level. The mechanism will only stop at the very end — on bedrock. A ladder will be installed on the side, which means the player can easily descend to the very bottom. If you want to stop the infernal machine earlier than expected, destroy the redstone block next to the hole. If you want to only pause excavation and then continue, remove the coal block.
