Armadillo: curls into a ball when in danger, 20 health, passive, spawns in plains/forests/savannas, drops Shield which crafts Wolf Armor (5 defense, 10 health). Crab: 2 variants, colony dwellers, 10 health, 3 damage, spawns on beaches/swamps, dances for seaweed, drops Claw (6 damage) and rarely Crab Hat. Penguin: attacks fish, 10 health, 3 damage, spawns on beaches/seas/snow biomes, lays eggs via fish that hatch in 50-70 seconds.
