In this cold winter, you want to move to the beach and sunbathe in the warm sun. As always, Minecraft allows us to do this with the Tropycal mod: beaches, Palms, Baobabs, sea animals, useful fruits, and even new types of villagers. Features include beaches, palms, dwellings, crab burrows, new water shades, pebbles, and shells. Mobs include Beach Crab (neutral, spawns on beaches), Lobster (dies on land after 60 seconds), Seagull (spawns on beaches), Pelican (avoids player), and Beach Villager (similar to village villager). Remember to enable Experimental Options in map settings.
