You can ride on players, pick up mobs, or do both. To pick up other players, you need to use special gloves. Unfortunately, picking up doesn't work on Bats, Fish, Dolphins, Pandas, Piglins, Hoglins, Wardens, Shulkers, and Vexes. Don't forget to enable Experimental Options in your world settings.
