New warriors protect villages and can be hired through contracts to fight on your side. Mobs receive visual upgrades with improved armor and weapons.

Guardian Legacy introduces village defenders and elite warriors available for hire. Village Guardian: 41 health, 5 damage, 1.0 attack speed, spawns in villages, recruited via contract. Knight-Villager: 70 health, 6 damage, 1.3 attack speed. Crusaders: 47 health, 6 damage, patrol all biomes. Teutonic Villagers and Hospitallers mirror Crusaders. Recruitment uses guardian and knight contracts from librarians and blacksmiths. Contract system allows converting villagers and taming guardians. Mobs gain improved appearance, door-opening, and adjusted stats. Supports versions 1.19 and 1.18.30.
