Direbats Mod (26.2, 1.21.1) – A New Species of Bat, Lover of Darkness

Direbats Mod is a mod that adds a new bat variant to the darkest caves of Minecraft. However, on full moon nights, these new bats can also spawn on the surface of the world.
Despite their appearance, they are neutral entities. That is, Direbats won’t attack us unless we attack them first – they will also become hostile if the light level is above 4. In other words, if there is a nearby light source, they will turn into hostile entities.

Direbat attacks cause the blindness effect on the entity they hit, lasting for five seconds. Another feature of these bats is that they can steal our items with their claws. Direbats drop fangs upon death. These fangs can be combined with an arrow to craft Direbat Arrows, which function like regular arrows but cause 15 seconds of blindness to the entity they strike.

Features:

• Unlike vanilla bats, Direbats attack players when disturbed or exposed to light.
• These sneaky creatures can steal items from your inventory during combat.
• They spawn naturally in caves, but also appear on the surface during full moons.
• Found hanging upside down-approach quietly or risk waking them up.

Unique Drops & Crafting:

• Direbat Fang: Dropped upon death; can be crafted into Direbat Fang Arrows.
• Blinding Arrows: These special arrows blind targets on impact, making them useful in PvP or mob fights.

Vibration Mechanics:

• Direbats respond to vibrations like the Warden, adding a stealth element to encounters.
