Raise Sound Limit Simplified
I don't know my version or loader
Open the Minecraft launcher and look at the profile you play on — it names both, like fabric-loader-1.21.4. The version also shows in the bottom-right corner of the game's main menu.
No loader in the profile name? Then it's plain Minecraft, and these mods won't run — you need Fabric or NeoForge installed first.
Raise Sound Limit Simplified
A mod that improves sound performance and raises Minecraft sound sources limit in a simple way (currently to 4095)
What does this mod actually do
- Raises sound limit to 4095, and allows configurable split between static sources and streaming sources
- Moves most of the sound processing off the render thread, and makes most sound engine methods non-blocking, improving fps stability under sound heavy cases
Configuration
The configuration file is located at .minecraft/config/rsls.properties
An in-game editor is available if cloth config and fabric api are installed
