🌐 Other Hosting Options

We have also relied on Nitrado to power our multiplayer experiences since 2020. It remains a very versatile service, especially for players who enjoy quickly switching between Minecraft and many other game titles

While Nitrado is a solid and flexible veteran in the hosting world, for the most optimized, "ready-to-go" COBBLEVERSE adventure, we strongly suggest choosing Apex Hosting for Day One update availability and faster technical support

This modpack requires at least 4GB of RAM to be able to play smoothly in single player (6GB+ recommended).

Instructions

Open Modrinth App settings (cog-like button on the bottom left), then go to Default instance options and set Memory allocated to 4096 MB or more.

You can always disable shaders if you prefer or if your PC has issues / lag.

How?

Just press "K" to enable/disable shaders or go to Options > Video Settings > Iris. You can also customize your shaders by clicking on Shader Pack Settings at the bottom of the Shader Packs menu, while a preset (for example, STANDARD) is selected. Please, enable HIGH QUALITY shaders only if you think your PC can handle heavy graphics.

How do I get it?

Players receive the book when they choose their Starter Pokémon, along with other items to help them on their adventure. You can always get a new one by using this command in chat: /function help:get_book

This modpack includes several datapacks and resource packs created by third-party authors.
Some of these have been slightly modified solely to ensure technical compatibility and stable integration with the rest of the modpack.

Due to the nature of how additional Pokémon models are implemented in Minecraft, they need to be placed in both the resourcepacks and datapacks folders simultaneously in order to function correctly in-game. To ensure seamless functionality and avoid requiring users to manually duplicate files or folders, we automate this integration process as part of the modpack's structure. However, the original, unmodified content is always included as a required dependency, and is downloaded directly and exclusively from Modrinth, ensuring that the original creators receive full attribution and download credit.

AllTheMons x Mega Showdown

This modpack integrates the AllTheMons x Mega Showdown resource/datapack to enhance the gameplay experience with high-quality models and compatibility features.

2. Public Servers, Commercial Use & Monetization

We love supporting communities and server owners, but strict rules apply regarding public and commercial usage:

• Private vs. Public Servers:
  • Private / Casual Servers: You are completely free to host private servers for friends, family, or small private communities using COBBLEVERSE.
  • Public Servers: Running a public server using COBBLEVERSE requires strict compliance with all third-party mod licenses and our own custom asset restrictions.
• Prohibition of Custom Assets in Commercial Servers:
  • All custom assets created specifically for COBBLEVERSE—including custom structures, custom trainers, questlines, custom datapacks, and proprietary configurations—are protected under strict All Rights Reserved (ARR) terms.
  • You MAY NOT use COBBLEVERSE’s custom structures, trainers, or datapacks on any public server that features a commercial shop (ranks, perks, virtual items, or monetary transactions).
• Third-Party Rights & Compliance:
  • COBBLEVERSE includes mods and assets from independent third-party creators under non-transferable or non-commercial licenses. Simply running our modpack on a server does not automatically grant you commercial rights over those third-party mods. Server owners are individually responsible for obtaining necessary permissions from independent creators whose work does not permit commercial use.

3. Server Branding & Identity

• Naming Restrictions: You MAY NOT name or advertise your server as a "COBBLEVERSE Server" or use the name COBBLEVERSE as the primary identity of your project.
• Allowed Compatibility Claims: You may state that your server is "COBBLEVERSE Compatible" or "Optimized for COBBLEVERSE" to inform players that they can join using the modpack, provided it is clear that your server is an independent entity.
