In vanilla Minecraft piglins are easily distracted by gold and will not attack players who are wearing golden armor. With this mod installed the distracting properties of gold armor are extended to any armor that has a golden trim applied!

Can this affect be applied to other trim materials?
Yes, while the base mod only applies to the golden material you can use a datapack tag to apply the mod to other materials of your choice. Any material in the distractingtrims:distracts_piglins tag will have this effect.
Does normal gold armor still distract Piglins?
Yes, this mod only extends the functionality to also consider the trim of the armor.
Is this a server or client mod?
For best results it is recommended to install this mod on both the client and server. While it's possible the mod may work if only installed on the server it has not been thoroughly tested and is not explicitly supported.
