Design Philosophy

• My aim is to provide a balanced gameplay experience where choice and skill reign supreme. Each cursed technique is designed to cater to different playstyles, encouraging players to find their niche rather than chasing the "strongest" option. For example, mastering Limitless requires keen cursed energy management for higher damage output, while Boogie Woogie offers different strategic advantages. This approach mirrors the dynamic seen in games like League of Legends, where player proficiency significantly influences outcomes.
  • In simpler terms, while a bad Limitless user can be beaten by a great Boogie Woogie user, when it comes down to both skilled players, Limitless will win because its a matter of who counters who and what items counter what. (counter Limitless with nullifying techniques)

Installation

• Requires the recommended Fabric Loader version for your Minecraft version (greater than 0.14.25!)
• Requires Fabric API
• Requires SpecterLib
• Place Fabric API, SpecterLib and the ProjectJJK mod file in your Minecraft 'mods' folder.
• Launch Minecraft and embark on your new adventure!

Compatability

• Known Issues: At present, the only identified conflict is with the Entity Culling Mod, which may affect gameplay when used alongside ProjectJJK.
• Your Input Matters: I strive to make ProjectJJK compatible with as many mods as possible. If you encounter any compatibility issues with other mods, I would love to hear from you! Your feedback is invaluable in helping me improve. Please share your experiences and findings on my Discord server.

Forge?

No. I will not be porting this mod to Forge. While I do have plans on possibly moving to NeoForge in the future, this project will remain in Fabric.

Will you be adding ___?

This mod seeks to add all the content of Jujutsu Kaisen into Minecraft and will eventually be added sooner or later. (Please refrain from asking to add "Strong" Cursed Techniques because they'll be added)

My goal is to faithfully capture the essence of Jujutsu Kaisen in this mod. However, maintaining a perfect alignment with the anime's storyline can sometimes hinder the gaming experience. To ensure a seamless and enjoyable gameplay, I occasionally prioritize playability over strict adherence to the source material. This balance is key to providing both an authentic and fun experience.

Limitless is still too strong compared to the rest!

Until more abilities are added, there will be balancing issues for the first few updates. Overtime, when more techniques and cursed tools are added, the balancing aspect will be effective.
