🗺️ MineGuessr
GeoGuessr, but inside Minecraft. You're teleported to a completely random spot in the world with no idea where you are. Look around, study the terrain, the biome, the sun, the structures — then open the map and pin exactly where you spawned. The closer your guess, the more points you score.
Every location is real, procedurally generated Minecraft terrain, so no two rounds are ever the same.
⚠️ Beta / test release. Bug reports and feedback are hugely appreciated!
✨ Features
🎯 The core game
- You spawn at a random point inside a 150-block region, bounded by a world border.
- After a short timer, an interactive map of the region opens.
- Click where you think you spawned. Score is distance-based (a bullseye = 5000 points), exactly like GeoGuessr.
🧑🤝🧑 Single-player & Multiplayer
- Play solo, or with friends — every online player joins automatically.
- In multiplayer, everyone is dropped at the same location each round and guesses independently.
- The round result is only revealed once everyone has guessed, so nobody can copy another player's pin.
- Cumulative scoreboard across rounds, with player heads and names.

🧭 A proper map screen
- Zoom (scroll) and pan (drag) the map.
- Battleship grid with A–H columns and 1–8 rows for easy communication ("it's in C5!").
- Compass (N) and a Sun/Moon indicator (East/West) for orientation.
- Scale bar and structure markers (villages, pillager outposts, pyramids, and more).
- Snow, ice, water depth and terrain relief are all rendered.
🏆 Results, history & records
- A polished end-of-match results panel ranking all players.
- 🎆 Fireworks when someone nails a perfect 0-block guess.
- Full match history with Multiplayer / Single-player tabs.
- Click any past match to review the maps — see where every player pinged each round and how far off they were. Maps are saved as images, so reviews work anytime.
🛡️ Built-in anti-cheat
- Players are invisible and non-colliding to each other.
- F3 coordinates hidden, block breaking/placing disabled, and you're invulnerable during a match.
