The Lost Mobs Mod
Mojang once held mob votes to decide which creature would appear in future Minecraft versions. Some creatures never made it into the game after losing these votes. The Lost Mobs mod adds mobs that didn't win. For example, the Buttercup Cow loves dandelions, and the Firefly warns players of dark areas where hostile mobs might appear.
