New Ore's
Another option with new types of Ore offers the New Ore's mod in Minecraft. There won't be dozens of new types of materials that are hard to figure out, and caves won't be littered with colorful blocks. Simple addon introduces only 4 types of new materials: Crystals, Rubies, Diametists and Platinum.
