Not Enough Industrialization
The industrial mod Not Enough Industrialization includes new Mechanisms, Ore, items, and unique features. Most elements are available in survival mode through crafting. There are 16 types of Ore and 8 Mechanisms. Ore spawns in veins in caves. Even on the surface, you can get some materials. Understanding mechanism functions won't be easy since the author didn't provide explanations. The main mechanism is the Oil Processing Workbench. From oil, you can create Gasoline to generate energy using an internal combustion engine.
