Free Bedrock servers › Minecraft Central

Minecraft Central — is it up right now?

Long-running network with SkyBlock, Prison, Factions and minigames. I've been pinging play.mccentral.org:25565 every ten minutes since October 11, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “Minecraft Central” does fine.

What I actually know

• 1,071 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 04:00 UTC and quietest around 08:00 UTC.
• It answered 94.7% of my checks over a week.
• The longest it stayed down in one go was 10 minutes, on October 11.
• The most I've ever seen there is 1,201 players, on October 17.

When people actually play there

Average players by hour, over the last 14 days. Times are UTC.

How to join from your phone

1. Copy the address above.
2. Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
4. Name it anything, paste play.mccentral.org as the address, port 25565.

Note the port — 25565, not the usual 19132. Miss it and the server just won't show up.

In short

• Free to join. All you need is Minecraft itself.
• Modes: minigames, skyblock, prison.
• Chat there is mostly in English.
• The server itself sits in North America.

Others a bit like it

• Hypixel 32,931 online
• The Hive 19,211 online
• The Hive (NA) 19,208 online
• The Hive (EU) 19,207 online
• ReallyWorld 14,943 online
• CubeCraft 14,670 online

This server isn't mine — I only list it, and its chat, rules and staff are its own. What I can vouch for is the measuring: one packet every ten minutes, and if it goes quiet for half an hour it drops off the list by itself.
