PlanetMC — is it up right now?

Spanish-speaking survival with land claims and jobs I've been pinging planetmc.net every ten minutes since October 11, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “PlanetMC” does fine.

What I actually know

• 152 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 01:00 UTC and quietest around 10:00 UTC.
• It answered 99.9% of my checks over a week.
• The longest it stayed down in one go was 10 minutes, on October 15.
• The most I've ever seen there is 236 players, on October 17.

When people actually play there

Average players by hour, over the last 14 days. Times are UTC.

In short

• Free to join. All you need is Minecraft itself.
• Modes: survival, economy.
• Chat there is mostly in Spanish and English.
• The server itself sits in North America.

This server isn't mine — I only list it, and its chat, rules and staff are its own. What I can vouch for is the measuring: one packet every ten minutes, and if it goes quiet for half an hour it drops off the list by itself.
