play.katipunansmp.com — is it up right now?

I've been pinging play.katipunansmp.com:25565 every ten minutes since October 21, so everything below is something I measured, not something they told me.

Paste it exactly as it is — no http:// in front. Phones like to add one; Minecraft answers “Invalid server address” to it. Minecraft also asks for a Server Name: that is only a label in your own list, so type anything — “play.katipunansmp.com” does fine.

What I actually know

• 61 people are playing there right now.
• It's busiest around 12:00 UTC and quietest around 00:00 UTC.
• It answered 64.3% of my checks over a week.
• The longest it stayed down in one go was 13640 minutes, on October 11.
• The most I've ever seen there is 159 players, on October 22.

When people actually play there

Average players by hour, over the last 5 days. Times are UTC.

How to join from your phone

1. Copy the address above.
2. Open Minecraft, tap Play, then the Servers tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Add Server.
4. Name it anything, paste play.katipunansmp.com as the address, port 25565.

Note the port — 25565, not the usual 19132. Miss it and the server just won't show up.

In short

• Free to join. All you need is Minecraft itself.
• Modes: not sorted yet.

This server isn't mine — I only list it, and its chat, rules and staff are its own. What I can vouch for is the measuring: one packet every ten minutes, and if it goes quiet for half an hour it drops off the list by itself.
