The Project
After my mom passed, I had a lot of sleepless nights. I threw myself into gaming, primarily Minecraft. I gave myself the mission to learn to create modern builds and to improve as a builder. My first goal was to design 100 unique skyscrapers, and eventually design a city that would stretch out as far as I could see.
Stage 1 - AKA "Old Town" has been a labor of love, near and dear to my heart. It stands as a portfolio of my growth as a builder, and now for you, hopefully a fun place to shoot videos, play minigames, or outfit it to whatever needs that you have. If you are a content creator and you end up using this map, @ me (MermaidBrigade on YT as well) because that would make my entire year.
The City
Stage 2 begins now, and will stretch out likely for 2 more years. I plan to expand the city to twice its size. Stage 2 will bring more realism and detail, as I want to lead off with a Minecraft Freedom Trail.
Stage 1 has 50 Buildings, many of which are up for download here on PlanetMinecraft. These buildings include:

The City is available in Bedrock. You can convert the map to Java, which is what I have done when I want to experience it with shaders (I use Chunker, great resource). I plan to do a Java version of the map, and to refine the map as it is now. Some "flaws" were left because it is an intentional living portfolio showing my growth, but I plan to improve on them during Stage 2 release.
What Makes Bladerunner Unique
This city is not going to be as polished as a map produced by a team of professional builders, or content creators who use generative software. What makes this map unique is that it was all created and executed by one builder. Aside from that, every interior space is accessible. The school has desks, lockers, a pool. The courthouse has a DMV, courtrooms. Apartments have beds, closets. Every room in every building is yours.
I am hoping that in Stage 2 I will not just be expanding but adding a lot more refinement to the city to make it more and more aesthetic.
