Greece - your Odyssey - FREE - Multiple sizes - Multiplayer Ready - Bedrock/Java
Enjoy this hand-painted map of Greece, in free 9k squared (1:90 scale), paid 14k squared (1:58 scale) or paid 18k squared (1:45 squared) options, using all the real-life trees for each of Greece's real-life biomes. All trees have leaf decay when cut.
Wage war over Troy or defend the passes of Thermopylae. Sail the seas in your own Odyssey and discover many of the (optional) custom Greek themed structures.
Custom Greek-themed structures
The (optional) custom structures include trial spawners, vaults (no ominous vaults) and some custom monster spawners. Villager complexes can also be found on the map, complete with villagers, dogs, cats, etc. Each size option includes a download with structures and a download without any structures, making these structures optional.
Spawners include: breeze, guardian, husk, skeleton, zombie, spider, silverfish and cave spider. Trial spawners include: breezes, vex, zombies, bogged, strays, spiders, guardians and cave spiders. A trial spawner drops random loot upon completing the daily challenge, with a semi-common chance to drop a trial key.
Take a trial key to a structure that spawns a vault. The vaults spawn semi-rarely across all structures. Server owners have complete control of loot tables via datapacks or plugins that over ride vanilla loot tables. Loot tables in custom structures include simple_dungeon, buried_treasure and rarely, end_city_treasure.
Ore Hotspots
Ore hotspots for gold, copper and iron included. Additionally, all ore hot spots have slightly boosted diamond ore rates. This is reasonably well balanced for SMP and geopols. The white circles represent iron, yellow represent gold and brown represent copper. All hot spots also have boosted diamond rates. These are all very subtle, light boosts, not overpowered at all. They are found at all elevations.
