Into The Backrooms (Exploration/Adventure Map) V.1.7

⬇ Download

I started creating this Backrooms map as a creative project since June 2022 and is in version 1.7 currently and will be updated with more levels in the future. There are 16 levels and 2 sublevels, and there are a lot of secrets and lore to discover. There are no mods or texture packs used for this map it is purely vanilla. This map is meant for exploration and there are no entities. I hope everyone who plays this will enjoy it I have put many hours into making this.

Level: 0

This level consists of long repeating hallways and empty rooms with yellow walls and florescent lights on the ceiling, all levels can be accessed through this level.

Level: Dark Neighborhood

This level is a dark neighborhood street that leads to a tunnel which leads to level: infinite forrest and level: 0

Level: Infinite Forrest

This level is a seemingly endless forrest that has structures such as barns and cabins, and this level is always at night. The train tracks in this level lead to a tunnel that goes to level: Dark Neighborhood. The other tunnel goes to level: The Poolrooms

Level: The Poolrooms

The Poolrooms can be accessed through going through the correct slide found in level 0. This level has a white and blue pool design with pools of water everywhere and waterslides. This level emits light with fake windows and pool lights. The Poolrooms can lead to level: Infinite Forrest.

Level: The End

The End is a massive library with a computer at the front desk and a white and yellow design on the walls with bookshelves everywhere, some shelves containing books and some have none. This may seem like the end but it's far from it.

Level: The Arcade

This Level appears to be an arcade from the late 90's and can only be accessed from level: 0 in a room with a singular black arcade machine. Once entered there is no going back and you must find the way out.

Sub Level: The House

This sub level is connected to level: 0 and looks like a house from the late 19th century.

Level: Courtyard Hotel

This level is appears to be a Courtyard hotel which has windows that can be seen on all 4 sides of the courtyard and has an enclosed area outside. The Courtyard Hotel can be accessed from Level: 0 by jumping into the hole in the first image.

Finding the way out of the Courtyard Hotel will lead you to Level: The Frontrooms

Level: The Frontrooms

The Frontrooms can be accessed from Level: 0 by finding a room with a blue and green slide and entering either one will lead you to a place that resembles the poolrooms. You then go through the tube in the water and it will lead you there. This level is the most peaceful level and is very beautiful.

Level: The Blue Bedrooms

This level contains bedrooms and living rooms along with long hallways and appears to have light blue walls and gray flooring and ceiling. Most of the lights in these rooms have a light switch available. There is an "outside" area to this level which will lead you to a sublevel named "The Attic".

Sublevel: The Attic

The Attic sublevel is a largely stretched attic. Storage boxes can be found around the whole attic, and there are windows that show a blue void.

Level: Silent Mall

This level appears to be a mall from around the 90's. The mall is two stories, and contains things like stores and a massive food court. From the mall you can access level: Supermarket

In order to access the Silent Mall you must find a working elevator in Level: 0

Level: Supermarket

This level is a Supermarket,  more specifically it is a "Big K". The aisles in the store appear to go on for miles and the lights over the aisles are dimly lit. There is also an "outside" parking lot area.

Level: Childhood Memories

This level can be accessed from level: Dark Neighborhood

Within the level it contains memories from your childhood, you will come across parks surrounded by darkness and parks that seem incredibly massive. The park seems to get more distorted with some slides leading to nowhere into the ground. You will also come across a dark suburban street, a school, and a lot more to discover. You can access level: Storage Units from this level.

Level: Storage Units

This level is a Storage Unit building that seemingly has no end. You will come across one of the Storage doors which will be open and lead you to storage units within storage units, leading you to the other section of this level which is covered in an unknown dark bacteria with vegetation growing. You can access this level through level: Childhood Memories.

Level: City Rooftops

In this level, it is a city surrounded by brick skyscrapers that seemingly go down forever with the ground being no where in sight when looking down. You can access this level by entering the brick building in level: Childhood Memories, as seen in the picture above.
