ChatManagement

Installation

1. Download ChatManagement.jar
2. Place it in your server's /plugins folder
3. Restart your server
4. A config.yml will be generated automatically in /plugins/ChatManagement/
5. Edit the config as needed, then restart the server again to apply changes

Commands
/cc or /clearchat
Clears the chat and sends a custom message to everyone.

/chatdelay <true|false>
Toggles global chat slowmode on or off.

/mute <player> <time> [reason]
Mutes a player for a set duration (10s, 5m, 2h, 1d, or permanent), with an optional reason.

/unmute <player>
Removes a mute early.

/mutelist
Lists all currently muted players with time remaining.

/chatcolor <color|clear>
Sets or clears your personal chat message color.

/closechat
Toggles chat lock — only staff (or players with bypass permission) can talk while active.

/report <player> <reason>
Reports a player; the message is sent to all online staff.

/chatmanage or /cm
Shows the help menu.

Permissions
chatmanagement.clearchat
Allows use of /clearchat. Default: op.

chatmanagement.chatdelay
Allows toggling slowmode. Default: op.

chatmanagement.mute
Allows muting players. Default: op.

chatmanagement.unmute
Allows unmuting players. Default: op.

chatmanagement.mutelist
Allows viewing the mute list. Default: op.

chatmanagement.chatcolor
Base permission to use /chatcolor. Default: true.

chatmanagement.chatcolor.<color>
Allows using a specific color (e.g. .gold, .aqua, .red). Default: varies by color.

chatmanagement.chatcolor.*
Allows using all colors. Default: false.

chatmanagement.closechat
Allows locking/unlocking chat. Default: op.

chatmanagement.bypasschatlock
Allows talking while chat is locked. Default: op.

chatmanagement.report.receive
Receives report notifications. Default: op.

chatmanagement.bypass.antiadvertising
Bypasses the anti-advertising filter. Default: op.

chatmanagement.bypass.swearfilter
Bypasses the swear filter. Default: op.

chatmanagement.slowmode.reduced
Grants a shorter slowmode delay. Default: false.

Removes slowmode delay entirely. Default: op
