Featherlight Optimizer
A performance-focused resource pack built for players who want smoother FPS without sacrificing the authentic Minecraft look. No reskins, no shaders, no gimmicks — just verified, working optimizations.
What makes this different
Most "particle remover" packs on the internet copy each other's guesses. This one doesn't — every particle identifier here was cross-checked against multiple real, working reference packs before being used. That process caught a real bug along the way: splash potion particles were silently running at full vanilla complexity due to an old merge mistake, since fixed.
Features
Four device-matched profiles — PC/High RAM, Mid RAM, Low RAM Mobile, and Ultra Low (fully static animations). Switch instantly via the tier picker in Global Resources.
380+ verified particle optimizations — explosions, portals, smoke, Guardian, Warden, Ender Dragon, Evoker, Mace ground-slam, redstone dust, and more.
Fixed-distance fog, tuned per profile, for genuine RenderDragon culling gains — not just a cosmetic mask.
Slowed or fully static animation cycles (fire, water, lava, portal, kelp, sculk) on lower-end tiers.
Armor durability viewer and totem counter, both in the HUD.
Low fire overlay for cleaner PvP visibility, cleaner item hover text, and small food icons (tools/armor/blocks stay vanilla-scale on purpose).
100% vanilla textures throughout.
Built for
Survival, Realms, SMP, and PvP — including crystal PvP and splash potion combat specifically.
