Java Item Tooltips hides the item name text that appears above the hotbar when an item is selected. The result is a cleaner, less cluttered HUD for players who find those descriptions distracting.
It can help in PvP, where a clear view of the surroundings matters. The texture pack includes an option to leave Shulker boxes out of the change, so their descriptions stay visible if wanted. It keeps the original 16x resolution and adds no new textures for blocks, items or entities, so it only touches the interface and works as soon as it is installed in Minecraft Bedrock.
