Rainfall gets a new texture and a lot more detail with Fused’s Better Rain, Splashes & Puddles!, a texture pack that reworks rain, splashes and puddles. It retextures particles and the sky.
When rain hits the ground or a water surface it creates ripples and splashes, and puddles appear at random while it is raining. Water effects outside the weather are covered as well: ripples and splashes show up when items are thrown into water, and similar disturbances appear when the player swims. The result is a wetter looking landscape during storms.
