Better frame rates on mobile and lower-end devices are the aim of MobileFPS, a texture pack that keeps a familiar look close to the vanilla game while cutting down on lag.
The pack retextures the UI, blocks, items and particles at 16x, with clean looks for wool, armor, elytra, glass doors and trapdoors. Terrain blocks such as grass, snow and podzol are full-sided, ores and budding amethyst get borders, and waxed copper items look distinct. The sun and moon are customized to appear more realistic. Sounds are toned down as well: various mob, block and ambient sounds are quieter, and cave noises, the Wither’s spawn sound and the Ender Dragon’s death sound are removed.
