The change is purely visual and only affects the first-person view, so other players still see the shield as usual. It does not alter how the shield works. Two in-game options are included, Mode: Actions & Stuff Compatible and Mode: Default. The compatible mode is meant to be applied above the Actions & Stuff pack.
Combat and exploration become clearer, and the shield keeps its functionality.
