Mobs show how hurt they are in Enhanced FX, a texture pack full of visual effects and small gameplay hints. Many creatures get damage textures similar to the Iron Golem cues, and pets flash white when their health gets low. Its water and shadow effects need Vibrant Visuals mode enabled in the video settings.
Mobs also get damage particles, ambient particles and glowing eyes, such as Creepers whose eyes shift color when charged, plus idle animations for some that had none. Skeletons shed bones, chickens lose feathers, and Shulkers emit portal-like particles when hit. Water has animated caustics and waves, shadows are soft, and PBR materials are used. Food and drink items show tooltips with hunger restored and potion effects. Entities, particles, the sky and blocks are retextured at 64x, and 36 custom sounds are included.
