The daily notification that shows how many days a player has spent in a world gets an animated look with Animated Days Played, a texture pack that modifies the user interface. It focuses on that single piece of the interface and leaves the rest alone.
After installing it, a player only needs to wait for a new in-game day to begin or wake up from sleeping, and the updated day count appears. If the display does not show up as expected, turning on Closed Captions in the Accessibility settings usually fixes it, since that acts as a UI refresh. The pack is tagged as simplistic, utility and GUI, and the change is subtle but noticeable. It includes some custom UI tweaks.
