Capes and elytra take their look from the player’s own skin in Adaptive Cape, a texture pack that generates a unique cape for each player. It brings a new animation system and several designs that adjust depending on whether an official cape is worn.

Simple Cape appears when no official cape is equipped, while Better Cape requires one. Custom Cape works like Better Cape but lets specific areas of the skin map to different parts of the cape and elytra, which allows custom patterns, logos or fully unique designs. Movement is smooth, drawing on the animation styles of Java Edition. An Adaptive Elytra with a redesigned model follows the same dynamic behavior as the capes.
