Underwater visibility improves a lot with PandaMine’s Clear Aquatics, which largely removes water fog for an effect similar to permanent Night Vision. It is a shader built for Vibrant Visuals mode, and its custom fog and water rendering only appear when that is enabled in the video options.

5 in-game options set the water style, from Lighter water to Action & Stuff water, with several Java-Edition styles in between. The pack also adds custom per-biome atmosphere and fog, with 67 fog profiles covering biomes and dimensions, plus biome color overrides. PBR materials with metalness, emissive and roughness maps are included, and items and blocks are retextured at 16×512.
