A dark, gloomy and warm RenderDragon shader inspired by Dark Souls Visuals (Android, 1.26.52.3).

Ashen Twilight brings the mood of the Dark Souls Visuals pack by HoneyStudios to RenderDragon materials. It does not use Vibrant Visuals, so it works without the deferred pipeline.

Features

Cinematic color grade: desaturated shadows, warm highlights and ACES tonemapping.

Dying-world atmosphere: murky olive daytime sky and fog, ember-orange dusk, deep blue night.

Moonlit nights: a cool blue ambient light on surfaces exposed to the sky.

Block-light tint: an ember tint on block light such as torches and fire.

Full coverage: works on terrain, water, mobs, held items, particles, weather, clouds, sky, stars, Sun/Moon and the End.

Nether fog untouched: red Nether fog is left as it is.

Installation

Download and import the .mcpack.

Launch Minecraft through MB Loader.

Activate the pack under Settings → Global Resources.

Notes

Standard RenderDragon materials only. No Vibrant Visuals materials, no JSON files, no textures.

Works with any texture pack.
